What: Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone. Where: Beaches of northern Puerto Rico from Aguadilla to Fajardo. Beaches of Culebra, St. Thomas, St. John and St. Croix. When: Through Saturday afternoon. Impacts: Rip currents can sweep even the best swimmers away from shore into deeper water, where it becomes difficult to return to safety.
